Where can I find the most cost effective magazine subscriptions?

I love magazines, but the spending has to stop somewhere.

Where do you get yours? How much do you pay?
Do you have any sites for me?

if not from the magazines themselves, I know my Mom subscribes when she orders from JCPenney lol.
