Try M magazine or J-14, Pop, Twist and Tiger Beat. My little sister and her friends read those.

My 9 year old likes Sports Illustrated Kids
National Geographic Kids
and Highlights

She is into sports and isn’t so girly girly She’s getting a bit too old for the Highlights but we like to do the Hidden Pictures together.
