where can i get japanese fashion magazines in the uk?

I was just wondering where could you find magazines that have information about japanese fashion in the UK? Would the magazines be in english?

personally i dont like cd japan and yesasia cdjapan takes forever to ship and shipping rates are insane ! and yesasia is WAY overpriced on magazines 15-16$ each +shipping. amazon.com also sells japanese magazines but you have to buy one full year it goes from 150$ to 200$ a year ( its quite pricy to pay in one time)
to order online i prefer http://www.myjpop.com because i pay only 6$ to 9$ per magazine .

the best is if you buy it in store directly . i dont know where you are in UK but there is 2 japanese book store asahiya and kinokuniya .both are in london .

also all the japanese fashion magazines are published in japanese and chinese but they dont have any english version yet .
only jpop and visual kei magazines like cure or purple sky are published in english .

How long after a magazine subscription will it show on my Amex?

I have 2 AMEX (American Express) GIft Cards for my birthday. I used one of each for a magazine subscription and 5 minutes after submitting my card info, etc, it doesn’t show that my balance has gone down for anything.

So how long after submitting a magazine subscription does it appear when you check your balance?

i just want to make sure i didn’t screw up the order or anything… because i have confirmations, but it doesn’t show the purchases.

Keep track of the conformations and don’t spend the money on the card for anything else. Magazine subscriptions are slow. I pay for all of mine by check and sometimes it’s 8 to 10 weeks before the cash my checks.

I am looking for some suggestions for good magazines to subscribe to for IT professionals, specifically for ones in computer repair or system/network administration. A magzine that covers new in the IT world, new emerging technologies, and so on. I also want to find a good magazines that will keep me up to date on new japanese anime. I know one is Shonen Jump but I don’t know any others or if there even are others.

to be honest with you, shonen jump out ranks basically all other magazines ,
but i also heard Beckett have a few good ones

uhmm cause shonen is the only one that i can remember doing more than 1 anime and talking about others, while having manga in it

Adobe InDesign is one of the more commonly use don Windows computers. Not cheap by any means though.

Is there any part of the country in which codes are liberal enough to allow one to reside in a shed or a prefabricated/modular garage? I have seen pictures of old fashioned quonset homes (the aluminum arch houses) but I have never seen any which were lived in. I only read about such homes in magazines like DWELL and Readymade. Here in Michigan, very little housing diversity exists. Is there any part of the country in which an owner could legally build a house for under $30,000? If so, please tell me where and provide links if possible thanks. For anyone else interested, Karrie Jacobs, founder of Dwell magazine, recently published a book called the $100,000 house. It discusses the issue of affordable housing. Thanks very much!

There are a lot more places around the country without codes and zoning than places that do–you need to get away from the cities and out into the countryside. You can purchase a home in many Oklahoma communities for well under $50,000, in small towns across the state if you don’t insist on staying up north. We are friendly and living is cheap. Plus we don’t have a lot of snow. If you live down in the mountains in southeast Oklahoma like a lot of people do, you can build your own log cabin on an acreage and live like a hermit if you wish. Electricity and telephone service is tough, though unless you build near existing lines. In the west part of the state, you can live pretty well anywhere you want and have full services. And unless you live in a city of 5,000 or more, no zoning laws.
