I live in the US so its hard to come buy a japanese magazine. I am learning how to draw different types of styles and I find that the japanese really have a unique fashion sense. Im not looking for a fashion website, I need magazines. So if you know of any popular japanese mags that are sold in the US let me know, thanks.

CDJapan website have some magazines subscriptions. Search of Kinokuniya Bookstores too, find one near you, they have big selection all types of magazines.

So I got a magazine from Victoria’s Secret and it has codes for discount on their stuff and I was wondering if I can use those codes when I purchase items within the store instead of buying those stuff online.
There is no bar code, just so you know.

i don’t get them nor do i know anybody who does,but i’m wondering do they ship them with the covers exposed or do they wrap them up in something?

If it’s shipped by the manufacturer of the magazine, then the cover and the name of the company is covered with a black area.

If it’s used or used but never opened and it’s shipped by another company (E-bay, Amazon or some magazine outlet ), then 9 time out of 10 the goodies will be clearly visible through a clear plastic covering.

I once bought an old issue of Gallery Magazine (which is 100x more explicit than Playboy) because of an *cough…cough* article that was featured on that specific issue and it was shipped to me in a manila folder but the black covering plastic was missing.

I’m a 10th-grade girl who’s looking for chances to work at magazines or newspapers. I have the experience and ability to work on an editorial board (been on one in the past, but outgrew it) and I’m looking for ways to get more experience.
Does anyone know of any newspapers or magazines that have opportunities like this for teens, even part-time? Paid or unpaid, online or in person, doesn’t matter.
I’m already on my school newspaper and magazine, and I’m looking for other opportunities as well.

Most magazines prefer payment by either check or credit card. Sending cash through the mail
really isn’t safe but either phone or write the magazine in question and ask them if you could send
them a cash payment. But first you might try asking someone with a check book or credit card
if they would pay the magazine with a check or credit card. Then repay that person with the
necessary cash.
