Cheap indoor motion detector for around $30? Seen in some magazines but where?

Trying to prevent a certain family member from raiding the kitchen every night.
Need an inexpensive indoor motion detector that I could put on a wall.
Looked in Xtreme Geek and Herrington but cannot remember where I saw one.
