So if you get a digital magazine subscription, how do you get the magazine? Do they e-mail it to you or something? Why do they need your address?

I want to subscribe to a magazine, and I want to enclose the payment along with my subscription. Thing is, I don’t have a checkbook, so I can’t enclose a check. I was wondering if it would be all right to send in REAL money in the payment envelope, rather than a check instead?

Most magazines prefer payment by either check or credit card. Sending cash through the mail
really isn’t safe but either phone or write the magazine in question and ask them if you could send
them a cash payment. But first you might try asking someone with a check book or credit card
if they would pay the magazine with a check or credit card. Then repay that person with the
necessary cash.

I subscribed to Cosmo magazine about six months ago. It’s a one year subscription, but two months ago I moved. I filled out a change of address form but I’m still not receiving the magazine at my new home. Is there a way to change where the magazine subscription is sent?

So what should i get?

I’ve heard of independent sellers of all kinds of products etc. I was wondering if there were any websites I could use to sell magazine subscriptions (not my own), but through a company or something like that? Any suggestions or answers would be helpful and appreciated. Thanks.

I want to order SEVENTEEN magazine i have the subscription order form thing, and i want to enclose my check , should i put it in an envelope and staple it behind the form-card because it says no postage needed or should i just put the card in the envelope with the money inside as well? and do they accept cash?

They give you the postage paid card to order the magazine and to be "Billed Later". When you pay later, you will have to pay the postage. Just a thought, have you checked the site below with this low, low subscription price, you could order it on-line if this is cheaper. Good Luck!

What magazine subscriptions exist for elementary aged kids?

My son loves getting mail and I was thinking of adding a subscription for him. The only ones I can think of are: NatGeo Kids, Highlights, Boys Quest/Hopscotch.

Any others? He’s 5, so I’m kind of looking at the 6+ category so he’s not bored with it.

We recently got Ask (arts & science) for the kids. We have yet to receive an issue, but for any of those published by Carus, you can preview a PDF of the magazine before buying, which is what I based the purchase on. Also, use code N401 if you buy from their website and you’ll get $9 off.

We were receiving one of their other publications last year which had a more literary basis: Ladybug. I wasn’t too thrilled with it. It was just kind of… trite, dumbed-down, annoying. The kids didn’t seem overly fond of it either and there was only one issue that got repeat reads with one particularly good story. We got it for a year and didn’t renew. Spider may be a little better, but we’ve only gotten one trial issue of it. I thought it was better suited for both my girls who were 2 and 4 at the time. I used to love Cricket, and will probably give it a try in a few years.

Their non-fiction ones look good from the previews on the Carus site and get good reviews on Amazon — which, by the way, is a another good resource for figuring out which one to get. I think NatGeo Kids got pretty low marks, for example, which is why I didn’t bother with it.

okay, I think I have the basic idea. it comes with a little paper, you write your name, address, city, state, zip code, email, and check either bill or payment. you put it in an envelope with the money? it has a business stamp on one side, what about the money? don’t put a business stamp on the thing and enclose the money and the paper in an envelope? thanks. please don’t make fun of me either.

You just mail the card (little paper) and the publisher sends you an invoice. Postage on the card should be pre-paid. Once you receive an invoice then send in the money however you prefer (check or credit card.)
