The answer is B. The % decrease in quantity demand is more than the % increase in price because the demand is price elastic. Revenue will decrease.A 1% increase in price will reduce demand=1.6%.

I am receiving issues of Men’s Health magazine, which I did NOT order. It is in my name and the account number shows that it is a 1 year subscription. Perhaps a marketing ploy…or credit card fraud?

Often, when Credit Card numbers have been lifted (from your computer or a compromised 3rd party where it was stolen), the perps send out a small transaction to see if you’re on the ball (watching your charges) and if the card numbers actually work.
I’d call the CCard company and have them put a watch on the account for unusual charges.

I found a VERY cheap magazine subscription on rite price magazines. It is only about one third of the price to subscribe on the actual website. I just don’t want to get scammed. Has anyone ordered anything from Rite Price Magazines??

i’ve recently gotten scammed of my money by those VERY SAME PEOPLE!
they also asked me for a donation to help provide education to those in Nigeria who are less fortunate.. that was part of their scam as well.

I would assume you just make the subscription send-to address as his prison inmate mail address, so long as the prison allows magazines.

Why is it that Seventeen is in stores before it’s delivered to my house? i thought that was the whole point of magazine subscriptions, to get it before it reaches store! So annoying.

I know what you mean!! I don’t get mine until two weeks I see it on the newsstands, it is so annoying! and the funny thing is I used to get them a little earlier and now I get them all late, it sucks, they should change that!

Okay, a few days ago I ordered a magazine subscription from Alternative Press. I did it online and used my Visa gift card. Well now, I’ve decided that I don’t want to receive the magazine anymore. I haven’t gotten any issues yet. How do I cancel the transaction?

on the little card for a magazine subscription, when you check bill me will the send you a bill for credit cards only or can you use cash or check too, and do they withhold the magazine until you pay?
