what resources are available for finding people to buy your house (websites home for sale magazines and such)?

Posted on January 7th, 2012 by admin in home magazines | 2 Comments »

i am currently looking to sell a house in order to move to one we have under contract however our buyer was unable to buy our house and we learned this at the last minute we have only a month left till our contract expires and i need to know the best places to post a house for sale in NC.

Have you considered a realtor?
Also, never allow anyone to even view your home unless they are pre-approved by a bank for a mortgage.

How are playboy and similar magazines shipped to your home?

Posted on November 22nd, 2011 by admin in home magazines | 14 Comments »

i don’t get them nor do i know anybody who does, but i’m wondering do they ship them with the covers exposed or do they wrap them up in something?
poor kid? lol i’m in my 20’s and i didn’t say i wanted them,i just wondered how they where mailed

If it’s shipped by the manufacturer of the magazine, then the cover and the name of the company is covered with a black area.

If it’s used or used but never opened and it’s shipped by another company (E-bay, Amazon or some magazine outlet ), then 9 time out of 10 the goodies will be clearly visible through a clear plastic covering.

I once bought an old issue of Gallery Magazine (which is 100x more explicit than Playboy) because of an *cough…cough* article that was featured on that specific issue and it was shipped to me in a manila folder but the black covering plastic was missing.

How can i dispose of old witchcraft books and magazines that were left in my home by a previous owner.?

The previous owner of my house moved out and left quite a few Man Myth and Magic magazines and a few spell books, what is the proper way of disposing without harming myself family or anyone else?

Books cannot cause you harm. Go ahead and sell or donate them to a used bookstore. Someone will appreciate them!

Does anyone know where I could find the TASTE of Home magazine pantry list on-line?

Posted on July 18th, 2011 by admin in home magazines | 2 Comments »

TASTE of Home magazine used to produce a pantry list and I have lost it. I don’t see it in the newer magazines. I would like to get an e-copy of it if possible.

You’re right… I checked the magazines I have sitting around and didn’t see it either. I know I DID have one at one time but have no idea what happened to it; however, I just Googled it and found this list………..

Want to put my home on lists to be used for ads, magazines, photos, films, etc.?

I know there are some lists but dont know how I go about getting my home on the list.
Does anyone know how to do this? Anyone have experience doing this? If so, give me the pros and cons.

What is so special about the home? Is it historic? National Historic Registry or there is probably a local/state registry. Is it well decorated? Try submitting pics to an interior design or architectural magazine. You could also contact local marketing or PR firms. They might have a need for photos for a project.

Does anyone know the name of the warehouse in Aston that allows you to pack magazines at home please.?

I want a job that allows me to stay at home like packing magazines e.t.c

I do not believe such jobs exist anymore .. there are (of course) many scam artists, con-merchants and fraudsters who will tell you different (although you will have to send them a ‘joining fee’ or ‘deposit’ to find out if they are telling the truth)

There MAY have been a time (1960’s ??) when mechanical packing equipment was so expensive that it was cheaper to employ home workers to pack the items …

However minimium wage legislation, reductions in computerised robotic machinery costs (and, of course, the cost of capital i.e. the interest rate) together with the cost of shipping in bulk to houses and picking them up again make this a ‘non-starter’ in any non-3rd world country.

Letters (especially junk mail) and magazines are all auto-packed and addressed by machinery these days.

The only packing jobs that still exist are in warehouses – and even there I expect humans are involved only at the end of the ‘picking’ system (see TV programs about food packing for the Supermarkets on-line shopping delivery systems or the automated storage and book picking systems used by Amazon) ..

The fact is, in the west, machinery is a LOT cheaper, more reliable, and accurate than people ….. (plus, of course, machinery doesn’t demand triple time and days off in-lieu just because it’s a Xmas :-) )
