Do you ever follow the advice given to you in those pages? I mean in this month’s issue of "Glamour" magazine P.169-176, there is an article on "The best skirt for your shape." Suggestions, pictures and explanations are given to match your body type to find the right skirt that is the right length, and many hints to find that perfect skirt.

Do many women on this web site use these magazines as fashion guides are do you just ask the fashion question for a quicker response?

I’m only 14… but the magazines I read have things like that. Sometimes I follow there suggestions, but if it is a piece of clothing I don’t like, such as highwaisted pants =P, then I don’t bother.

I’d rather just find a place to buy magazines from than having to wait 4 weeks to receive an order from ebay.

there is a very easy way, its to order it online from specialized stores . yes ebay is not that safe and it takes 4 weeks or more because item are ship from japan. dont even try amazon.com they takes 8 to 10 weeks. i buy all mine from http://www.myjpop.com
they have tons of japanese fashion magazines( i usually vivi ,scawaii ,and cawaii) and they ship from US . you can even choose economic regular or priority mail ( just make sure you send them an email before )

when i order with priority mail it takes only a few days to reach me .maybe you can try it ( like you i hate waitting too long too )

When I say age appropriate I mean, I’m 12 so… yea. I want it to be about fashion, not a girl’s life or anything like that. I have read teen vogue and I want something similar to that, except that had a bit of innapropriate articles and things like that, so please help! I also dont want any celeb mags like tiger beat or m.

You are 12 and this causes a bit of a problem but its not that bad.
unfortunately they don’t have many young fashion magazines.

I suggest seventeen but just avoid the risky articles.
I really think their should be a younger fashion magazine out there.
but at this time I don’t think they do.

I’m rubbish when it comes to fashion so I want some help and inspiration so that I can be more fashionable as I actually would like to look nice once in a while! Prefably highstreet shops as they are semi affordable shops! Any that you can recommend for a 17 year old?

1. NYLON for girls is super cool for punky new age and stlyish kind of dress

2. TEEN VOGUE is fashoniable for teens and outgoing personalities! (There is one problem- EXPENSIVE)

3. GIRLS LIFE is really cool but it’s not ALL about fashion just about teens

Supermodels.nl has heaps of scans from various fashion magazines.. I think they are organised by model names only but you can browse that way.

The actual magazine websites (eg British Vogue, teenvogue) sometimes have their photoshoots up in galleries.

I looked at sasuga books and jbox but I have to buy the subscription with it.
