Whatever you do, don’t use a broker. They will rip you off! Order your subscription directly from the publisher. You don’t need to buy the magazine to get a subscription card, just shake one out in the store.

What are some good, cheap books (or maybe magazines or other visual resources) to have on hand for visual inspiration when embarking on a new art project?

What about postcards? A lot of artists hang postcards in their studios, cards of other paintings, locations, interesting objects, etc.

My husband is a contractor and does some investing in stocks and bonds. He loves reading anything business, Investor’s Daily, The Donald Trump Story, ANYTHING to do with business or investing. Does anyone have a suggestion on a great new book for him to read, or perhaps a great business magazine subscription I could get him?

I have to write a 1500-word would-be magazine article for my writing class in college, and it needs to be interesting. I know what I’m supposed to do, I just lack a topic. So, what, if anything, would keep you reading this long of an article in a magazine? What topics are interesting?

When I purchase the Seventeen magazines every month, usually I love the horoscope section & any freebies because for the fun. But in terms of article topics, real life stories on sensitive or difficult issues that teens might have faced and/or overcome (like hazing, texting while driving, etc.) and articles where it’s taught me something valuable or simply just expanded my knowledge are what interests me the most.

Has anyone perhaps seen any vouchers in magazines recently for example?

I was wondering which magazines are good for teens that have writing tips and places to get your writing published besides the magazine Teen Ink. I’m looking for magazines that have writing tips, samples, exercises, publishing company names/suggestions, poetry, and short stories. Something along those lines.

Hey does anyone know a cheap place to buy people magazine subscription? All the other places I looked at were well over 100 bucks for a one year subscription and I want it cheaper. Ebay use to sell it for like 50 bucks but then ebay banned subscriptions or at least most of them which totally sucks!
