Alright, I’m 16 and I really like Seventeen, Vogue and Glamor but I want to get into some more magazines that have both good advice(fashion/dating) as well as photography(I like to put the pictures all over my walls). I wanna get some subscriptions but I was wondering if anybody had any good ideas on some magazines I should get?

what is going on here? When I subscribed to gamestops little discount card on used games and trad-in…. they never told me I will be getting magazines ever month???? or is it just a couple of magazines?

just yesterday they sent me the November issue and today i just got the December issue…. (last month I got the oct issue)

You get a year subscription when you buy the edge card (which is why the price jumped… it used to be only $5 a year). So every time you renew your edge card, you also renew your GI subscription, whether you want it or not.

Our class is having a debate on whether magazines are good and bad. I’m supporting them. Does anyone have some supporting ideas on why magazines are good??? (ex: All magazines other than…um, men magazines if you know what i mean.) Thanks.

Magazines are good because they have:
-healthy bonuses (like, health mags have tips towards having a healthier lifestyle)
-political and news magazines have a lot of controversy and if you want to be up-to date with everything, you can subscribe to Maclaens or something (dunno how to spell that mag!!)
-Beauty magazines are actually good and amusing because they have advice colomns, quizzes etc. and you can look at them in a car or sometime when youre bored
-Porn mags…nvm youre doing this at school, sorry
-And every other magazine has something you can learn from. Maybe not indended to learn something but it can be stored in the back of your brain

Go to your local library and check out an abundance of magazines for FREE! Check em’ out read em and return them…. If that doesn’t appeal to you see what mags your friends get and get something different- then share the subscription with them… It will be like a magazine club with your friends…

Go to FREECYCLE.ORG and look in your community for others that share your love of magazines and pick-up their already read subscriptions.. I give away most of my magazines when I’m done with them…. I get ELLE, VOGUE, GLAMOUR, COSMO, I get them for FREE.. I’ll have to let you know what site I get them from… You can also get the "blow cards" from the mags at the library there they have reduced rates about 50% UNDER newstand!

It’s time for me to reup on my Air and Space. For the last few months they’ve been trying to get me to sign back up for $26 for a year (6 issues since it’s published every other month). If I wait a bit longer will they offer me a better rate? I really like it but would miss an issue if they offered it to me alot cheaper. My other aviation magazines are less than this and are at least as enjoyable if not more so then this one (the others are warbird related)

If you buy the magazine first, they have subscriber cards in them that usually have really good deals on their magazines in them.
